We are looking for an industrial and/or electrical engineer to join our inspection team in Asturias. The functions that will be performed in this position are:

Installation execution control

Supervise the correct execution of the electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, ventilation, PCI, plumbing, sanitation, control, communications and other special installations planned in the project.

Verify that the work is carried out in accordance with the contractual documentation, plans, technical specifications and approved modifications.

Detect technical deviations and propose corrective measures.

Coordinate inspections and site visits related to the facilities.

Geometric control

Check layouts, locations, alignments, elevations, levels and dimensions of the executed installations.

Verify the correct implementation of equipment, pipes, supports and auxiliary elements.

Control compliance with tolerances and project requirements.

Quantitative control

Carry out measurements of the units of work executed.

Check the quantities actually executed against those planned in the project.

Verify hidden units before covering them.

Prepare measurement bases for monthly certifications and settlements.

Contrast the measurements presented by the contractor with those obtained in the field.

Qualitative control

Verify that the installed materials and equipment meet the technical specifications of the project.

Review certificates, CE marking, technical sheets, tests, approvals and quality documentation provided by suppliers.

Supervise functional tests, commissioning and verification protocols.

Carry out quality inspections during execution.

Check compliance with the Quality Control Plan.

Economic monitoring and certifications

Review monthly work certifications.

Validate measurements.

Collaborate with the Construction Management in the approval of certifications.

Reports and technical documentation

Prepare weekly and monthly work monitoring reports.

Write reports of incidents, non-conformities and proposals for improvement.

Keep control and monitoring documentation updated.

Prepare photographic reports and supporting documentation of the work carried out.

Participate in the preparation of final reports and As Built documentation.

Regulatory compliance

Monitor compliance with the applicable technical regulations.

Verify compliance with the Technical Building Code, Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulations, RITE, RIPCI, health regulations and other applicable sector regulations.

Control the correct execution of the installations in accordance with the project specifications and the requirements established by the Owner.

Requirements

Training

• Industrial Technical Engineering or Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Electrical, mechanical or industrial installation specialties will be valued.
• Minimum experience of 3 years in supervision, control or direction of execution of installations in singular, industrial, logistics, health or port buildings.
• Accredited experience in measurements, certifications and quality control of work.

Technical knowledge

• Interpretation of projects and installation plans.
• Measurements and budgets.
• Management of work certifications.
• Quality control and testing.
• Technical regulations for installations.
• Use of AutoCAD, Presto, Microsoft Office and construction monitoring tools.
