Role Summary

1. Carry out Occupational Health and Safety inspections of civil works, maintenance work and other work carried out by contracting companies of the Jorge Chavez International Airport.
2. Carry out occupational health and safety inspections of maintenance work performed by LAP technical personnel.
3. Inspections include all areas of the Jorge Chavez International Airport and other areas outside the airport that LAP defines.
4. Participate in the investigation of incidents and accidents at work.
5. Perform inspections of areas, equipment and tools defined by LAP.
6. Provide support in case of other Occupational Health and Safety management needs defined by LAP.
7. Carry out emergency inductions to contractors.
8. Support for emergencies with LAP personnel.

Requirements

• Industrial safety technician or firefighter with specialization in occupational safety and health through a diploma or specialization course of no less than 120 hours.
• Driver's license with at least 3 years old.
• Clean driver record and Point-based driver's license system.
• Have taken a hazard identification and risk assessment course.
• Courses: Have taken supervision courses for high-risk work (work at height, confined space, hot, electrical, load lifting, cranes, demolitions and excavations). These trainings must not be older than 3 years.

Have knowledge of Law 29783 “Law on Safety and Health at Work and its Regulations, DS 005-2012 TR, and its amendments. Have knowledge of the Regulations on Safety and Health at Work in the construction sector DS 011-2019-TR, standard G 50 “Regulations on Safety in Construction” and other related OHS standards. Have knowledge of “Regulations on Safety and Health at Work with Electricity” -RM 111-2013 MEM/DM. Management of Chemical Substances. Ms Office at basic level.

Experience of no less than 3 years carrying out supervision in industrial health and safety, environment in the construction sector or mining sector, oil or industrial sector.
