Role Summary

Securitas is now looking for security guards for assignments to protect socially important operations for Sweden. This is an assignment for you who are not just looking for a job - but are ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real importance for our country's livelihood and security. It's about protecting what needs to work - around the clock, all year round.

As a security guard, you have a decisive role in maintaining the security of operations that are important to Sweden. You work with extended powers, often in close collaboration with our clients.

The work is varied and can include both stationary and roving security, entry controls or work in a security centre. You will have to make your own decisions in sharp situations, have good endurance and a stable judgement. Therefore, we are looking for a person who has the ability to keep calm when others do not - and is loyal to Swedish interests.

Security guard surveillance is conducted both indoors and outdoors, day and night. The length of the work shifts varies, but is often arranged in 12-hour shifts according to a rolling schedule. This position mainly works during the day on weekdays, Monday to Friday, and needs to be available for work during these times. Since the business is running around the clock, there may also be a need to work evenings, nights and weekends.

The service means, among other things, that you

• Protects socially important operations from unauthorized access and other threats
• Carry out checks according to applicable regulations and instructions
• Collaborates with staff and authorities in security matters

Requirements

• To be eligible for the position, we see that you meet the following requirements:
• Passed grades in Swedish from high school
• Swedish citizenship
• B driver's license

Meritorious if you also have

Civilian or military security guard training; if you have completed security guard training with the Swedish Armed Forces within the framework of the Swedish Armed Forces' basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. The security guard training, as well as GMU, must have been completed in 2016 or later and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application

Previous experience of work with guarding of protected objects, other guarding or security work.

Security review

Please note that the service is placed in a security class and means that you will undergo a security assessment according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). In order to investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to current regulations, a security interview, background check and record check will be carried out. The assessment aims to investigate compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty and possible vulnerabilities according to the regulations and guidelines of the Security Police. Data collected can e.g. come from yourself, open sources or authorities. We apply an overall assessment of you, your life situation and financial circumstances when assessing your suitability.

• Where applicable, the corresponding check can be made by the person you live with, or have a similar relationship with.
• In order to be eligible for the position, it is therefore required (as a minimum) to;
• You/you do not appear in the Police Authority's various registers, e.g. suspicion register, charge register, etc.
• You/you have organized finances; do not have payment notes, unsettled debts, are with debt collection companies or the Swedish Enforcement Agency

For employment For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have passed grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). It is a requirement to have organized finances and no unsettled debts.
