Schichtleiter Logistik (m/w/d) in Sevenum (bei Venlo)

Role Summary

In this position, you will supervise, coordinate and train the team in your department in our distribution center and ensure our productivity goals are met. In doing so, you ensure compliance with high quality and safety standards. You also initiate and monitor process optimization projects in close collaboration with your shift manager colleagues and report to the department head of the respective area to which you are assigned (e.g. shipping, picking, packaging, etc.).

• Planning, controlling and monitoring day-to-day business.
• Management of productivity and monitoring of KPIs in your area as well as continuous optimization of structures and processes.
• Preparation of daily personnel planning.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of team members
• Collaborate with other departments in our distribution center.

Requirements

About you

• Proven experience in leading larger teams, ideally in logistics.
• Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Results-oriented decision making.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of German and English is required, Dutch is an advantage.
• You are willing to work in a two-shift system in Sevenum (Venlo, Netherlands).
