Strategischer Einkäufer FMCG (m/w/d)

Role Summary

As a strategic buyer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in shaping our procurement strategy for non-prescription products (OTC), prescription drugs (RX), health and care items as well as other pharmacy-related ranges for the DACH region. You conduct important negotiations, optimize conditions and build long-term partnerships with leading manufacturers and suppliers in the industry.

Responsibilities

About your tasks

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies successfully.
• Conduct annual and condition negotiations with manufacturers - with a particular focus on central KPIs such as purchasing discounts, bonuses and payment conditions.
• Analyze and optimize KPI-based control variables such as margin, sales development, delivery performance and sales dynamics.
• Identify growth and margin potential in the product range and align these with company goals.
• Work closely with Retail Media, Category Management and Demand & Supply to derive and implement joint measures.
• Observe and analyze market and competitive developments as a basis for strategic decisions.
• Build sustainable, collaborative relationships with manufacturers and maintain them continuously.

Requirements

About your profile

• Completed studies in the commercial field or comparable commercial training.
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the RX, OTC/Free Choice or FMCG (Health & Beauty) sectors.
• Persuasiveness and well-founded experience in price and condition negotiations with manufacturers.
• Strong analytical skills in dealing with key figures and reports – combined with a pragmatic approach.
• Confident use of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
