As our new Principal Engineer OLA (m/f/d), you will support us in a variety of railway infrastructure projects and play a part in shaping the transport transition.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks will be

Supporting the planning (new construction / conversion and expansion) of demanding overhead line projects as a plan examiner or person authorized to submit building documents (m/f/d)

• As a plan examiner (m/f/d) we examine internal or external plans for OLA systems
• As a person authorized to submit building documents (m/f/d) to carry out the professional approval of internal or external execution documents for construction
• Coordination of projects with internal and external specialist planners
• Participation in project management in planning (dates, costs, resources)
• Supporting the project management in fulfilling their tasks
• Ensuring compliance with the relevant laws, regulations, standards and regulations in the planning
• Examination of third-party planning results with regard to costs, deadlines and quality
• Support and technical guidance for our own specialist planners (m/f/d) in projects in which the role of plan examiner or BVB (m/f/d) is not taken on

You will be part of our systems department for the railway equipment trades at Ramboll Germany and an important part of our OLA planning team there. We support the challenges of the transport transition through our commitment to more than 3,200 experts in the field of transport and rail transport worldwide. The Ramboll team in Germany will be further expanded and expanded over the next few years in order to bring in the diverse experiences from regional, national and international projects (example: Fehmarnbelt underpass between Denmark and Germany - the world's longest tunnel for rail and car traffic).

For the position of Principal Engineer OLA (m/f/d) you should also have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:

Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, civil engineering or similar.

Professional experience in OLA planning

• Recognition as a person authorized to submit building documents and/or plan examiner (m/f/d) by the Federal Railway Authority
• You know the relevant laws, standards and guidelines (e.g. VV Bau STE, EIGV, HOAI) and implement them confidently in practice. You have experience in dealing with the EBA and in preparing EIGV advertisements and ZiE applications
• You are proficient in using CAD and planning tools as well as common MS Office applications and project-related databases
• Interest in complex tasks and networking
• Self-drive, reliability and solution-oriented way of working
• Enjoy working in a structured manner and in a team and passing on your specialist knowledge when necessary
• Very good knowledge of German and good English, both spoken and written
