Role Summary
Execute and review monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing routines.
Carry out accounting, banking, equity, intercompany and income statement reconciliations.
Carry out accounting entries, provisions, reclassifications, appropriations and analysis of variations.
Prepare balance sheet, income statement, indirect cash flow, balance sheets and management reports.
Support the preparation and delivery of ancillary obligations and accounting statements, when applicable.
Assist with internal and external audits and inspections.
Ensure adherence to current accounting standards, internal policies and internal control procedures.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance analysis processes.
Develop and improve accounting controls, procedures and flows.
Use automation, data analysis, and AI tools to optimize reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.
Interact with corporate areas, audits, consultancies or international stakeholders in English.
Requirements
- Complete higher education in Accounting Sciences.
- Solid/senior experience in corporate accounting, accounting closing and reconciliations.
- Be studying or have completed a postgraduate degree in Accounting, Controllership, Finance, Auditing, Tax or related areas.
- Fluent English mandatory, with the ability to participate in meetings, prepare reports and communicate with international teams.
- Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, large database analysis, and dashboards.
- Skills in accounting and financial ERP.
- Knowledge of AI, automation and data analysis tools applied to the accounting area.
- Solid knowledge of CPCs, IFRS and Brazilian accounting practices.
- Technical, analytical, detail-oriented, organized profile with strong problem-solving skills.
