Role Summary
Purpose of employment
The employment of “Confirmed Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician” aims to install lifting equipment (aerial handling) and other industrial means and put them into service at our client Ariane Group, troubleshooting, preventive and curative maintenance as well as the modernization (renovation) of the latter according to technical specifications specific to the products and in compliance with internal safety rules.
He/she also carries out periodic general verification checks (VGP) of equipment at our client Ariane Group.
Description of activities
- Establishes a technical diagnosis following customer request and carries out troubleshooting to resolve the technical anomaly,
- Carry out preventive maintenance visits according to pre-established maintenance ranges (detailed task action list)
- Repairs and/or modernizes existing installations according to the recommendations of the sales team,
- Carry out periodic general inspections of the equipment at the customer's premises in order to ensure the conformity of the devices according to the standards in force - according to scope,
- Writes reports of technical work carried out for the client on digital media in a pre-established format,
- Knows how to demonstrate and explain the different actions produced (for example: Analyze recurrences of breakdowns then propose improvement actions to optimize equipment availability).
Compliance and HSE rules
Respects and applies the procedures of the integrated management system and particularly the health and safety rules.
Specific professional knowledge
- Have a training base in electrical engineering,
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics,
- Knowledge of VGP regulations – depending on scope
- Knowledge in the use of different IT and digital resources (smartphone, tablet),
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards specific to aerial handling or other industrial environments and the working environment according to field specificities.

Means necessary to hold the position
Mandatory PPE (personal protective equipment) (e.g. safety shoes, gloves, helmets, protective glasses, other depending on intervention needs).
Requirements
- Initial training Bac or BTS level (mechanical, electronic, electrotechnical specialty)
- 3 to 5 years experience in industrial maintenance specific to lifting
Skills
- Technical: Electrotechnical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and speed variation fields
- Human: Oratory skills, listening skills, pedagogy, adaptability, cooperative, strength of proposal, Working alone or collaboratively.
- Office/Technological: Phone and Tablet
- Languages: French and English
Permits / Qualifications required
- License B,
- Electrical authorization (specific to the targeted sites),
- CACES nacelle,
- Authorization to work at height/wear a harness,
- VGP controller – depending on scope,
Internal product-specific training.
