Job Overview
Job description
- Salary:
- EUR 3,000 - 4,700 per month
- Location:
- Maastricht, LI, Netherlands
- Work arrangement:
- On-site
Role Summary
In the morning you start at a production company where a crane has stopped working. You locate the fault, tackle it immediately and safely and ensure that the production line can run again.
In the afternoon you will be at a large distribution center for planned maintenance. You check and adjust installations, perform safety checks and advise the customer on reliable use and preventive maintenance.
You work independently on location with customers in your region. No day is the same: one day you perform maintenance, the next day you solve a malfunction in a production hall or logistics environment. You analyze technical problems on site and independently determine the right approach.
You work with electrical installations, drives and mechanical components. You have direct contact with the customer and are the face of Konecranes on location. Thanks to your craftsmanship, you ensure that installations are quickly and reliably operational again without making concessions to quality or safety.
What are you going to do?
- Carrying out preventive maintenance on overhead cranes and hoisting installations;
- Locating and solving malfunctions (electrical and mechanical);
- Replacing parts such as motors, brakes, cables and frequency controllers;
- Carrying out inspections in accordance with applicable standards;
- Reporting your activities via digital service reports;
- Advising customers on technical improvements or necessary repairs;
Participate in breakdown services according to schedule.
You work a lot at height and often independently. You are the technical point of contact on location.
Requirements
What are you taking with you?
- MBO-3 or MBO-4 Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable technical training;
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering (finding faults in diagrams is no problem for you);
- Driving license B;
- No fear of heights
- Willingness to perform consignment services.
- Experience with overhead cranes is a plus, but not required. We believe a strong technical basis and motivation are more important.
Benefits
- 27 vacation days + 6.5 ADV days;
- Travel time allowance in accordance with the scheme;
- Reimbursement for breakdown and consignment services;
- Own service van, professional tools and PPE;
- Training and certifications (including NEN 3140 and working at height);
- Career opportunities towards specialist or other technical positions;
Lots of independence and confidence.
