Role Summary

• Maintenance engineer Spreaders Konecranes 16/7 Shift
• Work on the technology behind the largest container cranes in the Netherlands

Thousands of containers are processed every day at the RWG Terminal on the Maasvlakte. Spreaders, the systems that grip, move and unload containers, hang below these advanced cranes. As a Spreaders Maintenance Engineer, you ensure that these installations remain safe, reliable and available.

You work on a combination of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical engineering and control technology. This means you play an important role in one of the most modern and automated terminals in Europe.

What are you going to do?

• Inspecting, disassembling and assembling spreaders
• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Locating and solving faults

Administrative processing and registration of work carried out.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the availability of equipment

What are you taking with you?

• MBO-3 or MBO-4 working and thinking level in a technical direction
• Experience as a maintenance technician, service technician, car mechanic or machine mechanic
• Interested in large technical installations and port equipment
• Driving license B
• Good command of the Dutch language
• VCA Basic or willingness to obtain it

• 30% shift allowance on top of your basic salary;
