Role Summary

Are you a prevention advisor who likes to keep his feet on the work floor and gets energy from a dynamic retail environment? For our organization in Belgium and the Netherlands, we are looking for a practical specialist who will take the lead in developing and making visible a strong safety culture.

As a Level 2 Prevention Advisor you are the substantive expert and doer in the field of well-being at work and fire safety. You will be given the opportunity to take on a pioneering role and make safety workable in a rapidly evolving multi-site environment.

• What you do
• Developing and implementing the prevention and safety policy in Belgium and the Netherlands
• Being present on the work floor: risk analyses, inspections and practical follow-up in the stores
• Advising management and employees with clear, applicable solutions
• Organizing and giving safety training and toolbox talks
• Investigating and following up on industrial accidents and preventive actions
• Supporting (new) store openings based on safety and fire prevention
• Who we are looking for
• Prevention Advisor Level 2
• At least 2 years of experience, preferably in retail or another fast-paced multi-site environment
• Hands-on, pragmatic and visibly present on the work floor
• Someone who takes ownership and switches smoothly in a changing context
