Role Summary

Under the responsibility of the Production Manager, the Laboratory Technician is responsible for carrying out and monitoring the analysis of samples according to the different methods offered by the laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • Sample preparation (recording, weighing, dilution)
  • Analysis and reading of results (counts, transplanting, confirmation, PCR)
  • Preparation of culture media
  • Participation in laboratory continuous improvement activities
  • The laboratory opened during the summer of 2023. After an initial period of around 6 months of setting up the analysis methods, the real commercial start of the laboratory took place at the beginning of 2024.
  • You will participate in the development of a new laboratory. You will have the opportunity to see the fruit of your work come to fruition and to showcase your expertise by actively contributing to the development of this new activity.

Requirements

  • Initial training: BAC+2 (BTS or DUT) biotechnology, microbiology is a plus
  • Experience required: experience in the field of microbiology is a plus
  • You have the following qualities: rigor, organization, critical thinking, autonomy, dynamism.

Benefits

Contract: Full-time permanent contract

Remuneration: €1900 gross/month + bonuses and restaurant vouchers

Hours: work on a 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. schedule and work on weekends on a 3-week shift (2 weekends / 3)
