Role Summary

The creation of a Kitchen Leader position is requested, whose main objective will be to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen, the quality of the product, and the supervision and leadership of the team. This position requires a profile with outstanding skills in team management, quick and effective decision-making in the event of incidents, and proactivity in continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assign personnel to the games and carry out presence checks during the day.
  • Print the production and temperature control forms, deliver them to each batch and supervise compliance with them.
  • Carry out the delivery of kitchen utensils and machines, carry out their delivery and cleaning record, guaranteeing their functionality.
  • Check that the raw materials are available for the production process, according to recipe specifications. Control an adequate FIFO rotation (first in - first out).
  • Supervise the processes carried out in the kitchen and verify the specific working conditions of the staff in charge, reporting missing raw materials or incidents in the process to the Sous Chef for management.
  • Keep control and make digital and/or manual records of all area procedures (waste, production, HACCP food safety system, etc.).
  • Ensure shift production by supporting operational tasks when necessary.
  • Close the spreadsheet at the end of the shift, reporting pending tasks to the next manager.
  • Train and assist new hires and lower hierarchical rank workers, ensuring training and learning in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respect the company's environmental policy with responsibility for its specific area, promoting its compliance.

Requirements

  • Higher Degree in Hospitality and Tourism or other similar training related to the area.
  • Minimum experience of 3 years and extensive knowledge of traditional and regional Chinese cuisine.
  • Mastery of wok, steam, frying, broth and preparation of Chinese specialties techniques.
  • Availability to work the morning, afternoon or night shift.

It is essential to speak Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish

  • Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate a team of approximately 10 people, ensuring compliance with objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Management: Ability to organize and coordinate team tasks, optimizing time and resources.
  • Quality Knowledge: Mastery of product and service quality standards, as well as the corresponding health regulations.
  • Incident Resolution: Ability to identify and resolve incidents quickly and effectively, minimizing their impact on the operation.
  • Proactivity: Proactive attitude to detect opportunities for improvement and propose innovative solutions that contribute to the optimization of kitchen space and processes.
