Role Summary

During your internship, you will be actively involved in new projects, for example by precisely evaluating parts lists and identifying optimization potential.

You will independently create and update MS Power BI evaluations in order to transparently display expenses for one-off orders and enable well-founded decisions.

You carefully prepare supplier negotiations and actively support our team in carrying them out.

As part of our international purchasing team, you will work closely with colleagues at locations worldwide, including Germany, Portugal, the USA, China, Japan and Taiwan.

Requirements

  • Education: ongoing studies in the field of business informatics, industrial engineering, data science, business administration (with a focus on controlling/IT) or a comparable, quantitatively oriented subject
  • Experience and know-how: practical experience in designing, creating and managing interactive MS Power BI reports and dashboards for visualizing purchasing-specific KPIs (e.g. semiconductor price developments, supplier ratings, product group analyses)
  • Personality and way of working: you are a communicative, curious team player who works in a process- and solution-oriented manner and is analytical and goal-oriented
  • Day-to-day work: partly mobile working possible, presence in the office required around 3 days per week

Enthusiasm: Interest in procurement processes and MS Office applications (PPT, XLS) and how global events (e.g. raw material shortages, geopolitical shifts) influence the availability and prices of components; Curiosity about global supply chains, as the electronics market is highly dynamic, volatile and globally connected
