Role Summary

1.- Responsible for implementing, maintaining and improving SMT manufacturing processes. Ensuring compliance with relevant KPIs, such as: CPP cost per SMD placement, % Nu Rel

relative utilization, % IDC cost of defects, % Tver technical availability, % FPY first time ok parts in inspection and testing equipment.

2.- Responsible for the successful introduction of new products to SMT lines, under the 8/80/1 approach. 8 weeks at 80% Nu_Rel with less than 1% IDC.

3.- Responsible for the introduction of new processes to SMT lines, including process definitions based on DMD (divisional manufacturing guidelines).

4.- Responsible for the technical and human development of the personnel under his/her charge.

5.- Know and ensure compliance with the minimum customer requirements for the manufacture of PCBA, example: CQi17 GM, FEMR FORD

6.- Know and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, example: IATF 16949, in the SMT process.

7.- Always focus: First Safety - Quality - Deliveries - Costs. In the processes under your responsibility

Requirements

Advanced English

  • Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, related...
  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external).
  • More than 5 years of experience in the area of mechanical processes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis (Minitab).
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams in a global environment. Knowledge of DMM, VVT and technical specifications of mechanical processes.
  • Experience in fundamental quality tools (PFMEA, CP, SPC, APQP, MSA, PPAP).
  • Extensive knowledge of ESD standards.
  • Great capacity for teamwork.
  • Knowledge of problem solving techniques: Shainin, Six Sigma, PDCA, 8D.
  • Good communication.
