Role Summary
The Operations Team Member role includes a number of different tasks that play a key role in Avery Dennison's manufacturing operations. In this role, you will follow standard operating procedures to improve product and process efficiency, reduce waste and increase quality. You will support safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve department and site goals.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to volume, speed and quality specifications.
- Carrying out shipping and receiving activities and accurately entering data into the systems.
- Carrying out basic maintenance and repair work on machines and facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and actively participating in quality controls.
- Assist the team in completing essential tasks required to operate the facility.
- Working in three shifts with weekly shift changes
Requirements
- Experience operating production machinery or in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety and quality orientation.
- Basic mechanical understanding and technical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Careful way of working with attention to detail as well as basic computer skills for documentation.
- Adaptability and team spirit to support common location goals.
