Role Summary
About the position
The position is part of a department where self-adhesive materials (or semi-finished products thereof) on rolls are produced, processed, packaged and shipped. You are part of a team that works in a combined 3 and 5 shift schedule to achieve production goals safely and efficiently. The weekly average working hours are 37.33 hours in a 3-shift schedule and 33.6 hours in a 5-shift schedule. Both shift schedules consist of a morning, afternoon/evening and night shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate, check and adjust machines according to instructions on location in Alphen aan den Rijn.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and keeping the machines clean.
- Carrying out various quality checks and contributing to a correct handover during shift changes.
- Ensure the supply and removal of materials, product and storage according to standard working methods.
- Daily maintenance of the machines and contributing to solving non-routine problems.
Requirements
- Operator diploma A/B or technical MBO 3 training is an advantage.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar position within a production environment.
- Good knowledge of the Dutch language is a must for a safe working environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts with a flexible and driven attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
