Role Summary

• Manages and coordinates the production team on the entrusted line during the shift
• It ensures the smooth running of production with an emphasis on safety, quality and performance
• It organizes the work of workers during normal production, rebuilding and planned and unplanned shutdowns
• Ensures correct handover and takeover of change in entrusted area
• It monitors line performance, efficiency, downtime, internal error rate, scrap and other production indicators
• It captures, registers and moves the resolution of deviations to the desired state
• Responds to abnormal situations and follows a defined escalation process
• Checks compliance with safety, quality and work standards
• Reviews standardized line work including workflow, sequence and cycle time
• It supports 5S, visual management and workplace discipline
• Collaborates with maintenance, quality, logistics, industrial engineering and other support departments
• It supervises the material flow and prevents downtime caused by supply
• It supports preventive and autonomous maintenance within the scope of the entrusted area
• Leads the basic PDCA cycle and collaborates in more advanced problem solving as a team member
• He participates in the resolution of internal, customer or supplier complaints within the scope of his qualifications
• It ensures the training, integration and development of new and existing employees on the line
• It verifies the level of competence of workers and identifies training needs
• It supports the improvement of performance, quality, standardized work, reduction of scrap and shortening of downtime

Requirements

• High school education with high school diploma
• Technical focus or experience in mass production is an advantage
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing company can replace a formal higher education
• Experience in leading, coordinating or training people in production
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and general digital skills (electronic tools are a friend)
• English language at a level that allows easy communication and work with internal documentation
• He has a natural authority and knows how to guide the team directly on the production line
• He can organize the work of people during the shift and clearly set priorities
• He takes responsibility for the result of the change, not only for his own work
• Decisions are made practically and on time in operational situations in production
• He is consistent in safety, quality, 5S and compliance with standards
• He knows how to give a clear assignment, feedback and maintain the discipline of the process
• Actively captures deviations, escalates them and monitors their resolution
• Works with maintenance, quality, logistics, industrial engineering and other support functions
• He can train new workers and support the development of team competencies

He is open to learning and getting a basic orientation in the principles of Lean management and their practical application in production, especially in the areas of:

• Visual management
• 5S
• Standardized work
• Deviation management
• Basic Problem Solving (PDCA)
• Key performance indicators and working with them
• He is practically oriented, stable in communication and able to connect people, performance and standards directly on the line
