In this role, you will take on the technical leadership of a development team and drive the further development of our applications together. You will ensure that DVAG's digital solutions remain modern, efficient and technologically future-proof in the future.

Responsibilities

Your tasks in detail

Technical leadership

You are responsible for the development of modern microservices and web applications in the front end and back end and actively drive the digitalization of DVAG.

Quality assurance

With your expertise, clean code and structured code reviews, you will ensure that your applications meet the highest technical standards.

Architectural design

Together with the software architecture, you develop scalable solution designs and create a stable, sustainable foundation for your applications.

Continuous improvement

You continuously optimize applications, processes and the developer experience in order to advance your team technically every day.

Coaching & Mentoring

You support your developers through coaching, imparting best practices and making well-founded technology decisions together.

Automation

You rely on “Continuous Everything” – testing, integration and delivery are fully automated so that deployment can be done at any time at the push of a button.

Community engagement

You will actively participate in our technical communities and help shape formats such as hackathons, brown bag sessions, nerd nights and open innovation challenges.

Requirements

Sound qualifications

You have completed a degree in (business) informatics or have a comparable qualification.

Enterprise experience

You know the development of complex enterprise applications and are familiar with cloud-native architectures.

Team leadership

You have experience in the technical management of development teams and inspire your team for modern technologies, automation and IT security.

DevOps mindset

For you, CI/CD, automated testing and agile methods are of course part of modern software development.

Full stack expertise

You have mastered modern front-end frameworks based on TypeScript as well as back-end development in Java or Kotlin.

Personal responsibility

You work in a structured, goal-oriented manner and create transparency in the work organization of your team.
