Data Analyst expérimenté – BigQuery / BigTable / BI

Role Summary

The consultant will be responsible for

• Collect, analyze and formalize business needs in terms of reporting, management and data analysis
• Design, develop and maintain dashboards and analytical reports
• Leverage data through BigQuery to produce reliable, structured and actionable analyzes
• Understand and exploit data from BigTable in a volumetric/near real-time oriented GCP environment
• Produce ad hoc analyzes to support business teams in decision-making
• Define, monitor and make business KPIs more reliable
• Ensure the quality, consistency and availability of data used in reporting
• Collaborate with Data / Product / Business teams to transform business needs into decision-making indicators

Requirements

Graduate of a Bac+5 from an engineering school or university equivalent with a specialization in computer science, or with significant equivalent experience.

• Experience: 3 to 7 years in data analysis, reporting, visualization and performance management
• Solid experience in SQL, BigQuery and Data Visualization tools
• Good understanding of complex data environments on GCP, including BigTable
• Experience in the retail/mass distribution sector is a plus
• Advanced mastery of SQL for data exploration, transformation and analysis
• Very good command of BigQuery for the exploitation of large volumes of data
• Good understanding of BigTable and its role in the data ecosystem, particularly for the exploitation of data from voluminous or near real-time sources
• Confirmed experience on a Data Visualization tool (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Good understanding of data modeling and KPI construction issues
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering and functional formalization
• Ability to produce clear, reliable and decision-oriented dashboards
• Good understanding of data quality and governance issues
• Mastery of Excel / Google Sheets for additional analyzes
• Good knowledge of the GCP ecosystem
• Knowledge of dbt (asset)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, backlog, sprint, etc.)
