Role Summary

The Industrial Civil business area is growing and is therefore looking for more driven designers who want to participate and develop in our exciting assignments.

Our building designers have solid experience and broad competence and work with a focus on projects within the industry. We carry out assignments at all stages, from early feasibility studies to construction planning and implementation projects. AFRY strives to deliver comprehensive solutions. By using the company's broad competence and collaborating with other parts within AFRY, powerful and interesting commitments are generated.

We currently have around 250 employees within the Industrial Civil business area. In the eastern region, we have offices in Stockholm, Uppsala and Västerås with both construction designers and project managers and are a strong and established player in the area.

To meet the increasing demand for our services, we are looking for a Senior Designer to take on a key role responsible for delivering projects of the highest quality, while developing client relationships and creating new business opportunities.

Requirements

You are a civil engineer or university engineer with a focus on building construction. Experience in construction and the construction industry is a requirement. If you have carried out assignments in industry, it is meritorious. We would like you to be versatile, driven, curious and interested in technology and construction. You can both perform calculations and work with modeling and construction drawings.

• You take responsibility for your tasks and you constantly push your commitments forward together with the project team.
• You are a committed building designer with a positive attitude and you are a dedicated team player.
• The role requires good communication skills in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
