Role Summary

We are looking for a building physicist for our office in Lysaker

The Sustainable Building section consists of advisers with specialist expertise in building physics, the environment and energy. We work purposefully to develop robust, energy-efficient and sustainable buildings through professional assessments and holistic solutions in all project phases. Our services include, among other things, energy calculations, moisture protection, building physical analyses, thermal bridge assessments, indoor climate assessments, daylight assessments, environmental mapping and advice related to requirements in TEK17 and relevant standards.

With us, you will play a central role in the development of some of the country's most exciting construction and rehabilitation projects. The section contributes with building physics advice from the early phase and concept development to detailed design, follow-up in the construction phase and completion. You will be part of a strong professional environment with high competence, great influence in the projects and close collaboration across disciplines.

We work closely with both public and private developers, architects and contractors to ensure good solutions in energy, moisture, indoor climate and building quality. Through interdisciplinary cooperation and practical advice, we help to reduce risk, optimize the buildings' performance and ensure long-term value in the projects. Our assignments range from schools and other public purpose buildings to commercial buildings, housing projects, industrial facilities and extensive rehabilitation projects

  • Building physical planning of new buildings and rehabilitation projects within a wide range of building types
  • Independent control of planning and execution within building physics
  • Advice and analyzes within building physics to external customers or internally to other specialist areas
  • Condition assessments
  • Contribute to tender work
  • Develop internal methods and share knowledge in the professional environment

Requirements

  • Education at bachelor's or master's level in construction, energy, or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in building physics from consulting engineering
  • Experience with tools such as Simien, Flixo or similar
  • Good written and oral skills in Norwegian
  • Structured and professionally engaged
  • Thrives both in independent work and in interdisciplinary teams
