Role Summary

We are looking for a structural design project manager in Espoo for the Design Services unit of the Transportation & Places division. In the position, you get to work on versatile structural design projects, especially localization projects and international projects, with the main focus on new construction projects.

Responsibilities

In this role, your main tasks are

• Project management, contract matters, customer contact and change management
• Structural design, with the main focus on new destinations
• Acting as a responsible designer
• Designer tasks during work, such as designer supervision, site meetings and cooperation with authorities
• Participation in customer work and sales in the role of project manager

Requirements

The person we are looking for has

• Experience in the structural design of new properties for at least six years, including V‑demand category properties
• Several years of background in project manager positions and experience in the role of structural designer
• Experience in dimensioning the frame structures of both concrete and steel-framed buildings
• Background from international projects or working with international clients in Finnish projects
• Qualification (or willingness to apply for qualification) for the design of very demanding load-bearing structures
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and construction regulations in Finland
• Willingness and vision to develop activities
• Experience with AutoCAD, Tekla Structures and FEM calculation software in project work
• Fluent English and good Finnish language skills
