Role Summary

As a Defense consultant at AFRY, you will be part of projects that make a difference - for both society and security. Here you get a dynamic everyday life, where your skills are valued and your development is the focus.

• We are looking for people who want to work in one or more areas of expertise:
• Defense technology (land arena, naval systems, aviation and command systems)
• Systems Engineering (systems work and a holistic perspective in working with technical systems during all or parts of its life cycle)
• ILS - Integrated logistics support
• Defense logistics and technical service
• System security and functional security
• IT security and information security

You can either work as a technical specialist, generalist or project manager in one of the areas of expertise described above.

Requirements

We are looking for you with commitment and the drive to succeed! Experience as a consultant is advantageous, but your attitude is crucial. To be successful as a consultant with us, you need to have good initiative, collaborative skills and be good at communicating and taking responsibility for the challenges you face.

We want you to have at least a university engineering education and at least several years of professional experience from a technology-related role from defense or defense-related areas. You also have longer work experience of working with the systems life cycle process, including experience in requirements management, requirements verification and ILS. As the majority of our customers are Swedish defense industry and authorities, you should be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English.

• Depending on the assignment, the work is carried out either from the office or at the customer's place. Business trips may occur.
• Locations: Stockholm/Solna, Enköping, Uppsala, Skövde, Karlskoga, Malmö and Örnsköldsvik.

Security screening & Education verification

Our assignments are varied and many are in security-classified areas, which means that you may have to undergo a security check before starting with us. Swedish citizenship is a requirement. For all recruitments at AFRY, an ID check, reference check and verification of education are always carried out before employment.
