Equipment Operator – Excavator

Role Summary

Carry out checks prior to handling the equipment and ensure that the corresponding maintenance is carried out (cleaning, lubrication, fuel filling, etc.)

Locate underground utilities, such as wiring or pipes, before beginning any construction work

Install equipment or components of machinery or attached structures.

Operate heavy motorized equipment safely and efficiently, in accordance with current legislation and procedures: Excavate, move, load and flatten or level earth, stones, gravel or any other material using graders, excavators or any other type of heavy machinery that is required.

Spread, expand and compact concrete, asphalt and other surface materials, using shovels and other equipment.

Excavate rocks and other materials using shovels.

Move, load and unload materials.

Inspect the equipment by doing checks before being operated, review the operation of the brakes, monitor the status of the equipment and report any failure or breakdown.

Perform preventive maintenance, i.e. cleaning and degreasing, minor repairs and emergency adjustments on trucks and auxiliary equipment.

Carry out the turning on and off of the equipment safely and follow up on such procedures.

Assist co-workers in various tasks, such as loading and unloading materials, cooperating, if necessary, operating any other type of equipment.

Communicate to construction managers about any necessary maintenance or repair, preparing written reports.

Requirements

• A3 (A3B or A3C) Professional License issued by the MTC
• Do not have any faults on your driving record.
• Pass the Defensive Driving Course (CMD).
• 03 years as an excavator operator.
• Residence in Ivochote/ Kiteni.
