Equipment inspector and certifier

Role Summary

Inspect and certify lifting equipment and elements

Training, evaluation and certification of personnel (Operators and Riggers - operation assistants) according to requirement

Field verification (critical lifting, maintenance stops, use of lifting elements).

Provide constant feedback to operators and Rigger's to improve their performance.

Ensure that you have personnel with the technical, operational, safety and health competencies to provide services.

Provide adequate induction and training in order to provide adequate information, knowledge and skills, in a timely and adequate manner, on the written procedures that must be used to provide services.

Hold periodic meetings every week to review and evaluate the progress of the Work Plan, which must be previously presented before starting work.

Requirements

• Technician or University in related careers (Industrial Eng., Mechanical Eng., Metallurgical Eng., Civil Eng.)
• Steel Crane Inspector Certification to ASME B30.5, ASME B30.2, ASME B30.10, ASME B30.22.
• Certification in 2 Non-Destructive Tests (NDT).
• Training in guidelines of the NTP 17020 standard
• Knowledge INS-P-I&E-IND.64 MOBILE CRANE INSPECTION
• Knowledge INS-P-I&E-IND.64 INSPECTION OF GANTRY AND BRIDGE CRANES
• Knowledge INS-P-I&E-IND.64 INSPECTION OF ARTICULATED CRANES

Minimum (02) years of experience developing lifting equipment inspection activities, operator certification evaluation and load lifting.
