Role Summary

Ensure the timely obtaining and management of environmental and operational permits for the plants, guaranteeing regulatory compliance and operational business continuity.

Lead and execute the management strategy, regularization and obtaining of environmental and operational permits applicable to the company's plants.

Prepare, review and present the technical and legal documentation required for permit applications before regulatory authorities (SEA, Seremis, SMA and sectoral organizations).

Coordinate and consolidate technical information from the various areas involved.

Act as the main point of contact with authorities and regulatory bodies, managing observations, requirements and monitoring of files.

Supervise and coordinate the work of external consultants associated with permits.

Ensure continuous compliance with the conditions established in current permits, throughout the operational cycle of the plants.

Keep the applicable environmental and EHS regulatory framework updated, identifying regulatory changes and defining action plans for their implementation.

Support regulatory preparation of expansion projects and masterplans, anticipating requirements and risks associated with critical permits.

Permanent monitoring of potential legal, operational, security, environmental and reputational risks associated with regulatory non-compliance and action plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum experience of 5 years in sector permits.
  • Experience in health permits (waste and hazardous substances), environmental management, technical qualification and urban planning permits.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, risk prevention, occupational health and urban planning regulations.
  • Availability to move to the region sporadically.
  • Class B license and own mobilization.
  • Intermediate English desirable.
