Role Summary
General Purpose
Implement, monitor the system and the activities of environmental management (management, documentation, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement), by establishing programs and activities that apply to the plant's production processes, based on corporate guidelines and current legislation, in order to comply with the environmental policy established by the ISO 14001 organization and ensure compliance with the procedures that impact the quality and safety of the packaging.

- Knowledge of Colombian environmental legislation
- Report on government platforms: (RUA, PCB inventory registry, Manufacturing Survey, INSQUI, SICOQ)
- Comprehensive management of environmental management programs
- Waste
- Wastewater treatment plants
- Atmospheric emissions control
- Noise management plans
- Management of chemical substances
- Sustainability programs (Energy, Circular economy, post-consumer programs)
- Certification as internal auditor in ISO 14001
- Data Analytics

Responsibilities
Plan and execute activities related to environmental management, through the identification of needs, aspects and impacts, in order to comply with the standard.
- Plan, together with HR, training and well-being activities on topics that refer to Environmental Management
- Plan and the identification matrix of environmental aspects and impacts
- Design environmental programs, making reference to objectives, goals and indicators, taking into account the critical aspects generated in the matrix
- Execute preventive or corrective actions planned in the matrix
- Interact with external entities (authorities, suppliers, populations, among others), through documents, communications and consultations, in order to comply with regulations and seek new opportunities for the company.
- Identify legal requirements regarding the company such as local, national and international standards, making inquiries in different media
- Make documents, communications, and queries when relevant to legal or external authorities, according to the requirements manual.
- Make agreements with entities and suppliers that bring opportunities for the company
- Monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with commitments.
- Plan and control the activities that the operator of waste treatment and management plants must execute, taking into account the needs of the plant and covering these same
- Control and monitor variables that the waste treatment and management plant operator collects from the different tanks and plants.
- Monitoring of the weekly tasks of the waste treatment and management plant operator
- Organize the work plan of the waste treatment and management plant operator.
- Audit the processes related to the standard by evaluating the execution of procedures, ensuring that they are being carried out fully.
- Prepare and present compliance report to coordination.
- Carry out internal audits: (ISO 14001 and when clients require it).
- Present budget to the Plant Controller, identifying the activities that are planned for the purpose in order to be able to execute them in a timely manner.
- Plan monthly budget for SGA operations.
- Act as a member of the Plant's Food Safety Team, providing support in the development of the activities and projects it develops.
- Document, manage and review the following PPRs: Establishments, Waste Disposal, Pest Control.
- Actively participate in the weekly committee and monthly trainings.
- As a member of the food safety team you must:
- Validate the Flow Diagram of the stages of the process that are in the scope of the Safety Management System, the PPR's, HACCP Plan and PPRO's
- Perform audits and verifications of the PPR's, assigned PPROs and the HACCP Plan and/or validation when applicable
- Report to the safety team any changes that may affect the integrity of the Safety Management System so that they can be documented and approved.
- Review and update the Safety Management system according to the established frequency
- Audit and monitor suppliers that impact product safety and monitor compliance with action plans.
- Review and approve the emergency plan and take appropriate measures according to the results obtained.
- Analyze the results of verifications and/or validations and present them to the team as input information for management review
- Present information for review by management.

Training and Experience
Environmental engineer with 5 years of experience in environmental management in companies in the Manufacturing sector, in charge of the following topics:
