Role Summary

YOU...

• Process tenders from transmission system operators (TSOs) for protection and secondary technology in high and extra-high voltage substations
• plans and designs protection systems for 220 kV and 380 kV systems in accordance with standards and operationally safe
• create protection concepts such as distance protection, differential protection and breaker failure logic
• parameterize protective relays such as Siemens SIPROTEC (e.g. 7SA6, 7SD6) and create consistent device settings
• carry out technical clarifications with TSOs, planners, customers and internal departments
• develop protection plans, logic matrices, deviation lists and technical specifications
• Create and check FAT and SAT test plans for factory and commissioning tests
• accompany protection tests and support with error analysis and commissioning

YOU...

• You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
• You master protective relays such as Siemens SIPROTEC (7SA6, 7SD6, 7UT6, 7SJ6), ABB RELION or GE MiCOM confidently in theory and practice
• You work routinely with planning software such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory or PSS/E
• Confidently parameterize protective devices via DIGSI5/6 or ABB PCM600
• efficiently uses test systems such as OMICRON Test Universe (CMC, CMControl) or Doble F6150
• know relevant standards such as IEC61850, IEC60255, VDE0101/0102 and ENTSO‑E guidelines
• create technical documentation in AutoCAD, EPLAN or MSVisio precisely and structured
• have a deep understanding of protection technology, network operations and secondary systems
• You are willing to travel occasionally to test benches, customers or construction sites
• you speak German and English fluently
