Energy and sustainability manager (m/f/d) at BREMSKERL-REIBBELAGWERKE Emmerling GmbH & Co. KG in Estorf.

Responsibilities

• Further development of energy and sustainability management and implementation of corresponding corporate goals
• Taking over the role of energy management representative and supporting the energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001
• Independent planning, coordination and implementation of projects to increase energy efficiency and sustainability performance
• Creation and maintenance of sustainability reports as well as support of relevant sustainability ratings, in particular VSME and EcoVadis
• Monitoring legal and regulatory requirements/regulations in the areas of sustainability, environment and energy management as well as deriving necessary measures
• Additional support for quality management and advance quality planning (APQP) on development-related topics

Requirements

• Completed studies, for example in mechanical engineering, energy technology, environmental technology, industrial engineering or a comparable field; alternatively, technical or commercial training with appropriate further training and relevant professional experience
• Experience in project management as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Professional experience in energy and/or sustainability management; Knowledge of energy management according to ISO 50001 is advantageous. Ideally, you have experience as an energy management representative or the willingness to take on this role
• Interest in regulatory requirements and current developments in the areas of sustainability, environment and energy
• Technical understanding of production systems, operating processes and technical optimization measures
• Knowledge of sustainability ratings and reporting systems (e.g. EcoVadis, VSME) is an advantage
• Analytical skills, strong communication skills as well as very good written and spoken German and good English skills
