- Specific Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure complaint investigation and failure analysis documentation and records are complete and meet regulatory requirements.
- Participate and support internal, external audits and inspections as necessary.
- Performs other related tasks and activities as required: project management, resource evaluation, presentation creation, and strategic planning.
- Implements processes to handle a high volume of incoming complaints through customer-reported events and global service activities, including warehouse and field service logs.
- Identifies and implements efficiency and compliance improvements in the failure analysis process. Participates in external regulatory inspections.
- Ensures pre- and post-inspection activities are completed, including records review, training, logistics, etc.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the failure analysis team to ensure investigation best practices are implemented and used during Alaris® infusion pump complaint investigations.
Requirements
- - 6 to 8 years in similar positions
- University degree (essential) in; Engineering or related.
- Advanced conversational English.
- Experience in the medical industry (desirable)
- Experience leading a failure investigation team.
- Six Sigma certification preferred (Green belt)
- Experience in failure analysis, manufacturing operations, service and/or R&D activities.
- Leading research teams or designing inspections and tests for complex electromechanical equipment.
- Demonstrated track record of effective root cause determination in complex electromechanical, software-controlled medical devices.
- Experience establishing new fault investigation processes, test protocols and procedures
- Specific knowledge of the infusion pump preferred.
