Electronic Development Manager

Role Summary

The PDE's mission is to develop an electronic on-board vehicle part. The development of an electronic part involves taking into account all the factors surrounding the part.

The development of an electronic part involves carrying out several activities: from project management to validation, including specification (hardware, software, and mechanics).

The PDE is THE “project manager” of his/her electronic part(s).

Your mission will therefore consist of defining, organizing and managing the specification, design and validation activities of one or more power modules of the electric and/or hybrid vehicle while respecting the allocated budget, project planning constraints and development standards.

You will be responsible for collecting requirements and ensuring their variation to establish consultation specifications for the different suppliers. You will have the opportunity to propose innovative technical solutions, meeting the expectations of internal customers (performance, services, cost reduction, compactness, etc.).

We expect you to be a leader of the business teams in order to ensure project convergence (planning and cost control).

You will be a key element in the business team to ensure reporting to the project teams.

This position allows you to have numerous interactions with different sectors of the Company.

This position allows you to join a strategic field of activity, growing with many technological breakthroughs to come: electric vehicles and hybridization solutions for CO² control.

Requirements

• Holder of a BAC+5 or equivalent in electrical/electrotechnics, you have the following skills:
• Development of computers and electronic modules
• QCDP management of EE parts
• Supplier management
• Managing the development of software and hardware specifications
• Writing software, hardware and mechanical design files
• Simulations
• Managing the execution of part validations
• Documentation of business bases
• Writing test plans and validation of test reports (environmental, safety, EMC, functional, and dysfunctional)
• Analysis of parts and summary of test results
• Summary and reporting to project and industrial bodies
• Software calibration review
