Job Overview
Job description
- Location:
- Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium
- Work arrangement:
- On-site
Role Summary
After a personally tailored and very thorough training period, you and your fellow inspectors will help carry out the mandatory statutory inspections of electrical installations (low and high voltage, fire and explosion safety, special tests and measurements, etc.) in the regions mentioned above.
Through your work you personally ensure the safety of the customer, his employees and your colleagues!
Your training is aimed at obtaining various qualifications, which are broken down by type of installation and type of inspection (conformity checks or periodic inspections). If you pass a qualification test, you will receive independent assignments from our “planning” department.
You leave from home to your customers and carry out the various requested inspections and create a clear digital report. If necessary, you are also able to motivate the customer why you rate a particular installation negatively. In other words, you build up a thorough knowledge of the existing applicable legislation.
Initially you will undergo training and work independently until you have obtained all the necessary qualifications. Your team leader will work with you to determine the process that is feasible within your capabilities.
At SGS you work in a team (your colleagues, team leader and colleagues from the technical cell) where you can always go for help and/or explanation.
You report directly to the team leader of Flanders.
