This is not a standard engineering position. You become

• Head of Electrical Engineering for customer projects in the Industry Division
• Responsible for shaping the electrical competence of AFRY Netherlands
• Working in a small, enterprising team with the support of a large global organization
• Involved in high-impact industrial projects, currently focused on the Netherlands and Belgium

Responsibilities

• Representing the electrical engineering discipline for the Dutch industry team
• Act as primary point of contact for all electrical engineering topics (both internally and with the customer)
• Lead and contribute to engineering work in all project phases:
• o Feasibility study
• o Concept & Basic Engineering
• o Detailed Engineering
• o Guidance during installation

o Delivery & commissioning

• Develop and review complex documentation, including:
• o Electrical calculations (load, short circuit, arc, cable dimensions, etc.)
• o Specifications for HV/LV equipment, material specifications & Conformity assessments of installations

o ATEX-related technical documentation

• Oversee engineering results with a strong focus on quality, conformance, cost control and schedules
• Conduct site visits, inspections, factory acceptance testing and support commissioning activities
• Work closely with colleagues in the field of mechanical systems, processes, automation and project management across Europe
