Role Summary

💼 Your role as EIA expert / Environmental Studies Project Leader

Within our engineering department we support industrial customers with integrated environmental services: from environmental studies and EIA preparation to measurements, analyzes and specialized advice.

As an EIA expert you take a key position within complex environmental and permitting projects.

📚 What are you going to do?

• You lead and realize environmental impact reports (EIA) and related environmental studies for our clients within industry, infrastructure and government
• You coordinate the EIA preparation in collaboration with various internal and external experts
• You monitor planning, quality and deadlines throughout the entire process
• You explain reports to customers and competent government agencies
• You guide customers through administrative procedures and permit applications
• You verify calculations and review reports in the context of ETS (Emissions Trading System)
• You proactively advise customers on environmental impact, points of interest and (changing) regulations
• You think about sustainable solutions and strategic environmental advice

Requirements

• 🧬 What's in your DNA?
• Are you an EIA expert who wants to combine substantive depth with project responsibility and enjoys participating in socially relevant projects? Then this is your opportunity to make an impact within challenging environmental and permit files.
• You are a recognized EIA expert and have thorough knowledge of Flemish and European environmental legislation
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in environmental studies and environmental impact assessment
• You preferably bring expertise within the domains of air or water
• You have the ambition to grow into an EIA Coordinator
• You can prepare well-substantiated and clear environmental reports
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and professionally in English
• You switch effortlessly between independent work and teamwork and radiate maturity and confidence
