Responsibilities
Position Summary/Job Duties
Support the PDS Online Administrator in the day-to-day operation of Wisconsin Child Welfare's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Assist with system maintenance activities, including:
o Updating system information and content
o Reviewing and validating data
o Assisting with documentation and review of system updates and new releases o Researching and testing new LMS features and functionality
- Create instructional resources, including written how-to guides and video tutorials.
- Review and beta test online training courses before they are released to learners, identifying issues and providing feedback to improve the user experience.
- Update and maintain content and images in Pressbooks.
- Edit videos and add captions using Kaltura to support accessible learning experiences.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at UW-Madison.
- Interest in learning and working with educational technologies.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
