Role Summary

Lead the overall design, development, and optimization of light-duty electric vehicle drive axle systems.

Develop detailed project timelines and roadmaps to ensure timely completion of R&D tasks.

Collaborate with team members to select, integrate, and define technical specifications for key components such as E-motor and GBX.

Support performance simulation tests on the electric drive axle system design and adjust the design based on test results.

Coordinate with suppliers and internal resources to ensure project progress according to schedule.

Write detailed technical documentation including design reports, testing records, and outcome reports.

Participate in vehicle assembly tuning work to ensure compatibility of the drive axle system with other systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related fields; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in electric vehicles, particularly in R&D for light-duty EV drive systems.
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of motor technology, power electronics, and control principles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments both internally and externally.
  • Familiarity with CAD design software (e.g.Creo) and CAE tools for system simulation analysis.
  • Innovative problem-solving capabilities and resourcefulness in addressing challenges during the development process
