Role Summary
Do you enjoy working with the latest technology, alternately at people's homes, at companies or in our modern control stations? As a district heating engineer at Vattenfall, this is possible and you contribute to a fossil-free future.
District heating is becoming an increasingly important alternative to gas as a heat source. We see this in the large growth in the number of connections. The installations that ensure that the heat or cold comes in at the right temperature and with the right pressure are called heat sets.
As a district heating technician, you perform preventive maintenance and resolve malfunctions. This can be at home, in offices and companies or at one of the distribution stations. The work may be planned, but you also work according to a 24/7 on-call and breakdown duty schedule, such a shift lasts one week. During summer time it can be quieter and you have time for extra things, such as following our offered e-learning modules or carrying out (preventive) maintenance. During the heating season you sometimes work extra hours.

- A completed MBO course in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering (level 3 or 4)
- Preferably experience as a field service technician
- A customer-oriented, eager to learn, service-oriented and flexible attitude
- Driving license B
