Role Summary

We are looking for a driven Digital Radiography Specialist who is responsible for interpreting and reporting digital radiographic images. You play a crucial role in ensuring quality and safety through accurate analyzes and clear reporting.

In addition to this core task, you support the team in preparing and carrying out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), including various methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic and penetrant testing.

  • Tasks and responsibilities
  • Interpreting digital radiographic images and preparing detailed reports;
  • Preparing and conducting NDT examinations in accordance with applicable standards and procedures;
  • Checking measuring equipment and ensuring calibration;
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to achieve quality goals;

Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and techniques.

Requirements

  • MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably in a technical direction;
  • ISO 9712 film reading level 2 certificate;
  • Experience with digital radiography and interpretation of images;
  • Other ISO 9712 certifications in NDT methods (e.g. RT, UT, MT, PT) are an advantage;

Accuracy, analytical skills and an eye for detail.

About the Company

SGS Nederland B.V. has divided its services into 5 business lines, of which SGS Industrial is involved in various technical inspections of industrial equipment. The NDT department inspects and checks technical installations. From above-ground storage tanks to pipelines, from supervision of the new construction of factories, to inspection during a business shutdown. Our NDT employees examine critical welded connections and determine wall thickness reductions in structures, plate or pipe material.
