Role Summary
Training to become an IT specialist in digital networking (m/f/d) – focus on cloud native, SaaS & AI
Start your path to becoming a cloud & AI specialist with us!
We develop and operate our own SaaS services and modern cloud infrastructures in the managed services area. AI is already changing how we develop software, operate systems and solve technical problems.
For our team we are looking for a curious, quick-learning personality who not only wants to know how to use IT systems, but how they actually work. If you like tinkering, trying things out, taking systems apart and getting stuck into technical problems, we would like to offer you a springboard into the cloud-native world with this training.
During your training, you will be introduced to the stable operation and further development of our cloud-native environment in a structured manner. At the same time, you will learn to use AI as a tool for your own work and, increasingly, to operate, monitor and safely control AI-supported and autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
Your training priorities. This is where you grow into
Together with your trainers and mentors, you will master these core areas step by step:
- Cloud infrastructure: You will learn the structure, automation and operation of our modern cloud native stack.
- From code to live system: You accompany the path of new software releases from code to productive system, monitor performance and learn to keep systems stable.
- Automation: You'll learn how to make repetitive manual tasks more efficient through code and automation - and why we don't want to permanently do things by hand that machines can do reliably.
- AI & Autonomous Systems: You will learn to use AI for development, analysis, troubleshooting and automation. As you gain experience, you will also learn how AI agents take on tasks independently and how such autonomous systems are operated, monitored and controlled safely.
- Team support: You will support us in the development and operation of new products and, over the course of your training, you will become a competent contact person for cloud, platform and automation topics.
This is what awaits you. Your tech stack for learning:
- Initial experience with IT is a plus, but not a requirement. Whether through your own projects, at school or during an internship, if you have already had your first contact with IT, you can build on that with us and learn how it becomes practical.
- Kubernetes: Insights into designing and operating modern SaaS workloads.
- Infrastructure as Code: Getting started with modern infrastructure management with Terraform/OpenTofu and Helm.
- GitOps: Continuous delivery of software with Argo CD or Rancher Fleet.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Participate in building and maintaining automated build, test and deployment pipelines.
- Observability: Understanding and using logs, metrics and alerting for system monitoring and error analysis.
- AI & Agents: AI-supported work, large language models, tool calling and autonomous agents as part of modern IT systems.
- Security & Backups: Basics of cloud security as well as testing backup & restore strategies.
- Incident handling: Learn how to deal with system disruptions in a professional and structured manner and work your way step by step to the actual cause of a problem.
Requirements
This is what you bring with you
School basis: You have a (technical) university entrance qualification or a secondary school diploma in your pocket. Also welcome are those who have dropped out of college and have discovered that they would rather work practically on real systems. For us, it's not just your certificate that counts, but above all your technical interest and your ability to learn.
- First IT contact points: You have basic theoretical or practical knowledge - for example Linux basics, first scripts or programming experience, Docker, networks, hardware or other experiences from your free time, internship or school.
- Enthusiasm for IT: You are not afraid of lines of code, you enjoy tinkering with the PC and stick to it stubbornly until you understand why something works - or why it doesn't.
- Technical curiosity: Maybe you've already set up your own server, built a home lab, installed Linux, experimented with Docker or virtual machines, screwed together hardware, repurposed a Raspberry Pi, written a small tool or simply taken apart a system out of curiosity.
- **We care about things like that. Tell us about it.**
- AI as a tool: You don’t just want to use AI to give you ready-made answers.
- You want to understand how you can use it as a tool to develop faster, analyze problems, and build new things. We are looking for people who can build more with AI than without it.
- Willingness to learn: You have the desire to see mistakes as learning opportunities, to independently look for causes and to continuously develop yourself.
- We care more about how you think, learn and approach technical problems than how well you can sell yourself.
- The IT for which we train you is currently fundamentally changing, as AI will increasingly support our work and take on more and more tasks independently. As a result, technical challenges do not disappear, but rather shift.
- We want to prepare you to understand, build, operate and maintain control of the cloud platforms, automation and autonomous systems of tomorrow
Benefits
This is what we offer you for your start
- Structured training: A fixed mentoring model in which an experienced trainer supports you in your everyday work.
- High chances of being taken over: We train for your own needs and would like to take you on permanently after successful completion.
- Targeted further development: We support you with exam preparations and useful cloud certifications (e.g. CKA/CKAD).
- Modern way of working: For us, AI is part of the toolbox of modern IT. You will learn to use them sensibly, to critically question their results and to use them to build and automate things that would previously have required significantly more manual effort.
- Team culture: Flat hierarchies, direct technical exchange at eye level and short decision-making processes.
- Flexibility: Plannable flexibility in your working hours and modern options for mobile working after training.
- We look forward to your application!
