DevSecOps Engineer - Defense & Security - Ile-de-France

Role Summary

Your future working environment

You are joining a dynamic agency which has more than 370 employees spread across the Paris region. Depending on the missions entrusted to you, you are required to evolve within Sopra Steria internal teams in outsourcing type services or you are directly integrated into client teams as a technical expert.

The agency markets its activities to large account clients belonging to the Banking, Insurance, Social Protection, Retail & Automotive, Public Service and Health, Social and Employment sectors, and many others.

Your role and missions

You contribute to the design of the architecture and the choice of technical components.

You ensure system administration of virtual machines (VMs) and K3s clusters.

You deploy the applications using automation tools such as Ansible and Helm.

You install and configure the tools necessary for the proper functioning of the platforms.

You maintain and evolve DevSecOps chains (CI/CD).

You take charge of remediating security vulnerabilities identified during audits.

You provide support for defense tests and load tests.

You contribute to debugging applications and analyzing logs.

Requirements

Technical skills

• You are familiar with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Nexus, Harbor and ArgoCD.
• You use automation and infrastructure-as-code tools, including Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
• You practice scripting in Bash and Python.
• You have strong skills in Linux system administration and Kubernetes environments
• Master 1 or 2 training (Engineering school or University training) or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of professional experience on similar subjects as a DevSecOps Engineer.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and you are able to adapt to your “business” or “technical” interlocutors. You have excellent writing skills in both French and English.
• Curious, rigorous and proactive, you are recognized for your listening skills and your analytical and innovative skills. Your qualities such as diplomacy, team spirit or even a sense of customer service will also be essential assets to your success in the missions entrusted to you.
