DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure - Rennes

Role Summary

Within the Digital Platform Services subsidiary and an agency made up of around a hundred employees, you will join a team with a major client in a stimulating environment. You are supported by a dynamic team who will make you take an active part in the project as a whole.

Your role and missions

You are part of a team of multidisciplinary specialists (system team) with in-depth knowledge of Cloud technologies, infrastructure and application constraints:

You deploy and maintain

You are responsible for the agile deployment of the infrastructure requested by the development teams

You are in charge of operational and security maintenance, with monitoring and optimization of infrastructure performance

You participate in projects and management

• You actively participate in the analysis and design phases of projects, including PI planning and Sprints
• You define tools, procedures and rules allowing the success of infrastructure deployments in production for new application functionalities
• You identify and preventively assess infrastructure risks

You automate and manage incidents

• You support project teams in the design and integration of technical infrastructure building blocks
• You are in charge of supporting and maintaining infrastructures and technical components, managing complex and critical incidents
• You manage escalations towards the development teams, you are the local interface for the customer team
• You are a force for proposals and implementation of automation and CICD axes via tools such as Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation

You lead and support innovation

You participate in technical committees and continuous technological monitoring

You support project teams in the design and integration of new technical infrastructure solutions.

You have a referent role, you are a force for proposals and innovation within the teams

Depending on your desires and learning desires, according to the needs of our clients, these missions are scalable.

Your technical environment may consist of

• Continuous Integration: GitLab, Nexus, Jenkins
• Automation: Ansible, Ansible Tower, Terraform
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• DevOps environment: CI/CD with Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, OVHcloud, Outscale)
• Technological Environment: Microsoft, Linux, VmWare, Hyper-V

Requirements

• Graduate from an engineering school or equivalent, you already have significant experience in a similar role of at least 5 years.
• You are recognized for your adaptability, your spirit of innovation, your ability to convince and your spirit of synthesis.
• You have a taste for challenge and you enjoy working in a team, while demonstrating autonomy.
