Responsibilities
- Development, construction and optimization of prototypes for our infusion systems and consumables
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of technical experiments and tests
- Analysis of test results and derivation of suitable improvement measures
- Participation in the development of mechanical, fluidic and electromechanical components
- Support in converting concepts into robust product solutions
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from development, quality and approval
- Documentation of development and test results
Requirements
Training and experience
- Completed studies in medical technology, precision engineering, mechatronics, process engineering, plastics technology, fluid dynamics or a comparable technical field
- At least a few years of practical experience in product development or a related field - an advantage if this has already been done in a regulated environment where risk-based approaches are used (e.g. medical device (preferred), automotive industry or aerospace)
- Enthusiasm for developing physical products and technical systems
Technical knowledge
You have experience in implementing a product from concept to market launch as well as experience in the areas of “Design for Manufacturing” (DfM) and “Design for Assembly” (DfA).
- Experience working with CAD systems
- Safe handling of measuring equipment as well as craft and power tools
- Ability to evaluate technical data and derive well-founded conclusions from it
- Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English (company language is English)
