Designer (PJ NX/CATIA)

Designer (PJ NX/CATIA) at Applus IDIADA in Brazil.

Responsibilities

. Execution and monitoring of projects in accordance with specific standards and regulations

. Technical guidance for customers and suppliers

• . Design review and process verification, performing detailed mathematics of difficulties with material choice and tolerance definitions, complex executions of any board difficulties, sections and representations
• . Compliance with rules, regulations and customer instructions and deadlines.
• . Issuance of medium difficulty modification forms.

. Guidance for designers in carrying out activities

. Preparation of a descriptive document depending on the assigned activity and collaboration with the preparation of the requested facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive sector developing plastic parts using NX
• Proven experience in CATIA design software
• Solid knowledge of design standards, regulations and industry best practices
• Experience with tolerance specifications, material selection and technical calculations
• Proven ability in project management and process verification
• **Training:**
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Product Design or related field)

**Technical skills:**

Advanced proficiency in NX and CATIA CAD software

• Competence in preparing complex technical drawings, plans, sections and representations
• Experience in preparing technical and descriptive documentation
• Knowledge of modification management and engineering change control processes

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and mentoring skills

• Attention to detail, committed to meeting specifications and deadlines
• Ability to provide technical guidance to clients, suppliers and junior designers
