Design office engineer - mechanical design (M/F) at ALTEN in Boulogne-Billancourt, IDF, France.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the design of mechanical parts and assemblies in CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo or equivalent
• Develop and update technical plans and nomenclatures
• Participate in technical choices in collaboration with the project, production and quality teams
• Follow the prototyping and industrialization phases
• Ensure technological monitoring and propose innovative solutions
• Write the associated technical documentation (definition files, calculation notes, technical reports, etc.)

Requirements

• Training / Experience
• Bac+5 diploma (engineering school or equivalent), with a specialization in mechanics
• A first successful experience of at least 2 years in a design office, mechanical design, ideally in aeronautics, space, defense or high-tech industry

Technical skills

• Mastery of design tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, or Creo)
• Personal qualities
• Relational ease and writing skills
• Rigorous, autonomous and good team player
• Strength of proposal
• Languages and mobility
• Professional command of English (read, written, spoken)
