Role Summary
We are recruiting a Thermohydraulic Engineer (nuclear) to join our BU within the Digital Simulation agency specializing in the areas of scientific computing, modeling, TMA of scientific applications and studies of complex physical phenomena.
Your field of expertise
- Knowledge or even experience in the operation of nuclear power plants.
- Skills in thermohydraulic modeling and fluid mechanics.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of SVN or GIT type version managers.
Rigorous, with real interpersonal skills and know how to be proactive. In addition, you are recognized for your analytical and synthesis skills and your concern for reporting.

Responsibilities
- Construction and/or optimization of simulation models,
- Carrying out single-phase – two-phase thermohydraulic simulations in normal, accidental and incident operation,
- Carrying out test calculations from experimental programs,
- Carrying out pre-calculations to contribute to the proposal or specification of new tests,
- Verification of safety criteria,
- Writing calculation notes and reports,
Presentation of results to the client.
Requirements
With Bac+5 training in a scientific or technical world, you have initial experience with calculation codes (Cathare, Flica).
