Role Summary

Mission details

As part of a team made up of data scientists and data engineers organized in Scrum Agile mode, the consultant will work on the implementation of analytical and predictive solutions for the Supply Chain.

• Code quality, simplicity and maintainability

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities are

• Structure, plan and coordinate the team's work in collaboration with the data scientists, the lead data scientist, the data analysts, the Product Owner, the business teams and other technical teams.
• Align the construction of analytical and technical solutions with professional and business challenges.
• Advise, guide and ensure the skills development of the team's data engineers.
• Be responsible for data science and software development methodologies (qualification of sub-projects, iterative development, industrialization of solutions, maintainability, performance measurement and monitoring).
• Referee technical debates when necessary.
• Ensure continuous technological monitoring in order to challenge existing systems and propose innovative solutions.
• Contribute directly to topics as a Data Scientist.

Requirements

Bac+5 training in IT

• More than 7 years of proven experience in SQL / BigQuery, Python, GCP, Git and DBT.
• Experience in the retail or mass distribution sector is a plus.

Soft skills

• Excellent written and oral communication in French
• Ability to popularize complex topics to non-technical audiences
• Spirit of analysis and continuous improvement
