Role Summary
Integrated into the Data Platform teams, the consultant will work on the design, development and maintenance of massive data processing solutions.
He/she will work in close collaboration with the development and production teams to guarantee the quality, performance and robustness of the solutions implemented.
The mission is part of a context of convergence between operational and decision-making, with strong challenges in performance, scalability and reliability of analytical processing.
Requirements
- Scala and/or Java development with strong mastery of functional programming concepts
- Apache Kafka (data streaming)
- Apache Spark (distributed processing)
- Cloud GCP or AWS (Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataproc, Kubernetes)
- BigQuery and advanced SQL (large data volumes)
- CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD, Docker Compose
- Linux environment and command line tools
- Microservice architecture
- Unit testing and integration testing
- Kafka Streams, Spring Boot
- Agile methodology (Scrum)
Profile sought
- Bac+5 diploma in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience: More than 7 years of experience in Scala/Java and Data Engineering
