We are now looking for a Data Engineer with practical experience with Databricks and using SAP Datasphere in data integrations. In this role, you get to work with modern cloud architectures and build scalable data platforms for business needs.

In the task you can

• To design and implement scalable data platforms using Databricks
• To integrate and model data using SAP Datasphere
• To build and develop data pipelines (ETL/ELT) with modern tools
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data development and releases
• To ensure data quality, information security and compliance requirements are met
• To develop solutions that support data management, classification and API management
• To cooperate with architects, analysts and business representatives

Responsibilities

• What will you do in this role?
• As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of large and scalable data platforms. You work in hybrid environments where data is imported from SAP systems (for example SAP Datasphere) and processed using Databricks for analytics and reporting.
• You work in close cooperation with the data, analytics and business teams, ensuring that the data is of high quality, managed and easily usable.

Requirements

What do we expect from you?

• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Engineer roles
• Knowledge of the Databricks environment
• Experience with SAP Datasphere or using SAP data as a source system
• Experience with hybrid and cloud environments (e.g. Azure)
• Knowledge of CI/CD solutions (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Good understanding of data management, quality and data security
• Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
