Data coordinator and designer in infrastructure

Role Summary

As a data coordinator and designer/projector at AFRY, you play a crucial role in maintaining high quality and a clear structure in our infrastructure projects as well as designing roads and land. You are responsible for ensuring that the project's digital project management is efficient, well-organized and in line with set requirements. By working closely with the project management and technical managers, you have an active role in the project's coordination and quality and delivery assurance. In your role as a designer, you design the infrastructure of the future and contribute to the green transition, as well as the development of Sweden's resilience in the north with private and public clients.

Meritorious

• Experience from Trafikverket projects
• Knowledge in planning and BIM/model coordination in 3D tools
• Competence in programming, scripting and automation

We would like you to have an academic degree or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways as well as good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

The role includes

• Drive and implement effective work processes to ensure that information management is uniform and structured in the project
• Support assignment management and project teams by providing guidance, training and support in document and information management
• Coordinate and quality-assure documents prior to deliveries and be responsible for delivery of documents to the client's project area or document management system
• Participate in review sessions and support task management with review routines to ensure a high quality of information in the project
• Responsible for the contact with the client's specialist in digital project management
• Participate in various development activities to improve and streamline our working methods
• We are now looking for a driven and data coordinator with some experience who wants to take an active role in our projects and ensure quality in both information management and deliveries!
• This role will be based out of our office in Piteå or Luleå

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has some previous experience in data coordination. You should have a good knowledge of the planning process and an understanding of the various stages in our projects, for example road or railway plan, system document, construction document, turnkey contract and execution contract.

We are looking for you who have

• At least 2 years of experience in data coordination within construction and infrastructure projects from the consulting, construction or client side
• Previous knowledge of information and document management systems (e.g. ProjectWise and Chaos)
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation.
• Good general computer skills
